What does ethical breeding mean to me?
Our goal is to produce healthy, well-tempered hamsters that adhere to their species’ show guidelines. Only the best pups remain for further breeding. As such, we often collaborate with breeders from all across Europe to better our lines.
Our hamstery only has a few litters throughout the year so that we can be sure to provide each litter with ample care that the pups deserve.
From their enclosures, bedding and accessories to food and cuddle time, each of our hamsters is pampered as much as possible and we make sure to educate ourselves further by staying up to date with hamster care news worldwide.
We are a small hamstery in Prague, officially under the ČKK (Czech Hamster Club) since January 2024 and under the SHS (Swedish Hamster Club) since April 2024. We breed syrian hamsters in dove and cream colors.
The story of my beginnings and how it affects my hamstery.
My journey started in 2023, though hamsters have capture my heart all the way back when I was nine years old. Back then, despite my best attempts to learn from available pet care books, my hamsters lived in the very colorful 90s cages. After a particularly sad goodbye to my black hamster, I moved to other animals. Gerbils, chinchillas, dwarf hamsters and rabbits, until the circle closed and I returned to syrian hamsters again.
This time, however, I knew better. The world is slowly learning that hamsters require more care and space. That sugary treats are not the way to go. I’m glad that the hamster community has come such a long way and that I can be (even small) part of it.
